Grover Cleveland and Bushwick Community high schools escape Bloomberg's ax; 24 schools don't | Capital New York
This morning, the Postdescribed the two schools, Grover Cleveland High School in Queens and Bushwick Community High School in Brooklyn, as “politically backed.” Those political connections include Cathy Nolan, the chairwoman of the Education Committee, who is a graduate of Grover Cleveland.(Rosie Perez is also a graduate of the school, I’m told by my mother, who was a teacher there.)
